The Main and Lower Levels

Loose Mansion’s Main and Lower Levels are beautifully restored and provide an elegant venue space with architectural treasures that are fun to see and explore. If you book the Main and Lower Levels of Loose Mansion, your guests will enter through our main entrance under the Portico on the West side of the mansion. They will enter through the stunning marble foyer and then into the grand foyer where they will take note of the massive staircase, hand-carved mahogany woodwork and gorgeous chandeliers. Through enormously wide doorways, they will see all areas of the “L” shaped main level, including the spacious Grand Salon, Music Room, Dining Room and Sun Porch areas. The details are remarkable and timeless, and the fireplaces are one-of-a-kind. Dancing normally occurs in the area next to the stage (ideal for DJ’s or Bands), which can be shown on TV’s in the Dining Room, Sun Porch and Lower Level Speakeasy (or throughout the mansion, if desired).

The Lower Level Speakeasy, originally home to Jacob Loose’s Cigar & Billiards Room, provides the perfect cocktail hour scene and often additional dinner seating, when needed. This level contains original Italian tile, beautiful hand-painted murals, and a private bar. The focal point is a large fireplace with hand-carved tile and a gorgeous walnut mantle with accent lighting that creates a warm and inviting ambiance.
